Tom Morello to release new EP this month

Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello will release, under the name The Nightwatchman, a new EP entitled 'Union Town' later this month. This EP is composed by eight tracks and will be released by New West Records.

'Union Town' will feature three original tracks, 'A Wall Against the Wind', 'Union Town' and 'Which Side Are You On?', plus covers.

Morello said that the songs on this EP were inspired by workers' demonstrations that he attended in Wisconsin: "I was so inspired by what I saw in Madison,” he said. “I’ve talked to workers across the country, and I played a rally in Los Angeles months ago, and I can tell you that working-class people are not taking tyranny by the teaspoon and they’re not taking it by the pound. My great hope is this record can put some wind in their sails.”

Proceeds from sale of 'Union Town' will go to the America Votes Labor Unity Fund.

The Blue Van - There Goes My Love

Be, Be the charming type,
Take off your gloves and show what they hide,
Please, please my naked wrists,
With your hands and fingertips
And please, baby get on your knees,
Don't bare bare bare your teeth,
I'll let you try,
If you close your eyes,
I'll have an answer for your ass!

There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love!

Why, be charming kind,
Oh you'll get yours,
When I get mine,
Oh no, it's not for me,
If you're too good,
You won't be free,
And please, please I'm on my knees,
I wanna feel feel feel your teeth,
Get on your knees,
Baby get on your knees,
I wanna feel feel feel your teeth!

There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love!

(Oh no, just just, wait, no, you gotta wait, oh no, oh no please!)

There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love,
There goes my love love love love love!

Airbourne

Airbourne is an Australian rock band formed in 2003 by brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe. Joel picked up his first guitar at the age of 11 and Ryan had his first drum kit at the same age with Joel being 15 at the time. It took the brothers several years to find like-minded musicians with the same taste for making rock and roll music in their hometown. Joel was introduced to guitarist David Roads when the two worked at the Hotel Warrnambool.
Bringing their guitars to work and, after their shifts, jamming on song ideas, Dave was soon asked to join the O’Keeffe brothers for a jam at their house. Bassist Justin Street completed the picture in 2003, when Ryan ran into him while stumbling home drunk from a party one night. As it turned out his new mate played bass, and was interested in jamming with a band that were looking to move to Melbourne. And so Airbourne was formed.
Airbourne released their first EP, “Ready To Rock” in 2004. Later that year, they signed with Capitol Records.

In 2006 Airbourne relocated to the United States to begin work on their first international studio album, Runnin' Wild, with producer Bob Marlette. Runnin' Wild was released in Australia on 23 June 2007. Three singles were released from the album, "Runnin' Wild", "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast", a playable track on Guitar Hero; World Tour and "Diamond In The Rough".
On 19 February 2007, Capitol Records cancelled their record contract with Airbourne, but the album was still released in Australia through EMI. The band has now signed with Roadrunner Records for distribution throughout the rest of the world. Amongst all the overseas hype, Airbourne still failed to be played on any of the major Australian Radio networks until 2010.
“No Guts. No Glory.”, their latest album, was released on 8 March 2010.
A lot of people compare Airbourne to AC/DC. About these comparisons, Joel O’Keeffe said: "whoever you are when you come out, especially if you’re from Australia and you sound like we do, you’re going to get compared to anyone who is out there. It doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to get compared to somebody. To be compared to the best rock and roll band in the business, who are still going today and are about to release another album, there is no higher compliment."

Airbourne - Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast

Some people like to make all the rules
And tell others what to do
They make it their way so they always win
And the others always lose
Street gangs and madmen
How they wage their private wars
In bankers clothes their hearts are froze and
Their wives hold hands with whores

I'll sit and spin for a little while
If it's the end of days
I'm goin out in style

Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna drink it up while it lasts
Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna tear it up so fill my glass

Thieves in the night rob you blind
With surgical precision
You can't evade the eye in the sky
He got facial recognition
Paranoia on every street
It's hard to stay alive
Never know when you'll feel the heat
Before it takes your life

I'll sit and spin for a little while
If it's the end of days
I'm goin out in style

Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna drink it up while it lasts
Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna tear it up so fill my glass

Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna drink it up while it lasts
Too much, Too young, Too fast
I'm gonna tear it up so fill my glass

Too much I'm gonna drink it up
Too fast yeah while it lasts
