Kasabian played their second festival headline set of the weekend at Isle Of Wight Festival last night (June 12), bringing an end to this year's event with an electrifying set on the Main Stage.
The returning Leicester band, who also headlined RockNess in Scotland on Friday (June 10), aired new songs 'Velociraptor!' and 'Switchblade Smiles' at the show. Both are from their forthcoming fourth album, also called 'Velociraptor!' and set to come out this September.
"Isle Of Wight, you’re in fucking 3D!" noted typically animated frontman Tom Meighan, surveying the huge crowd - and the steam rising off the mosh-pit after a day of torrential rain on the site.
Kasabian played:
‘Club Foot’
‘Where Did All The Love Go’
‘Underdog’
‘Shoot The Runner’
‘Velociraptor!’
‘Cutt Off’
‘Take Aim’
‘Empire’
‘Fast Fuse/Pulp Fiction’
‘Vlad The Impaler’
‘LSF’
‘Switchblade Smiles’
‘Stuntman/I Feel Love’
‘Fire’
