The Vaccines - If You Wanna
I don't want to wake up in the morning
But I've got to face the day
That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say
I don't want to do things independently
But I can't make you stay
That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say
But if you wanna come back it's alright, it's alright
It's alright if you wanna come back
Do you wanna come back? It's alright, it's alright
It's alright if you wanna come back to me
I don't want to see you with another guy
But the fact is that I may
That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say
Give it just another couple months or so
Then you'll be ok
That's what all the friends I do not like as much as you say
Alone, all alone
I am on my own
Alone, all alone
I am on my own
But if you wanna come back it's alright, it's alright
It's alright if you wanna come back
Do you wanna come back? It's alright, it's alright
It's alright if you wanna come back to me
If you wanna come back it's alright, it's alright

Summertime Kids
Summertime Kids is a side project of And The Giraffe’s Nick Roberts. Although he’s only 19, his songs demonstrate his great maturity. He released his debut EP, entitled “Table Manners”. This EP has great instrumental folk songs and also a song called “Know”, that is the only non-instrumental song in there.
You can listen and download the EP for free following this link:

I hope you give it a listen, because it’s really worth it.

The Avett Brothers - I And Love And You
Load the car and write the note.
Grab your bag and grab your coat.
Tell the ones that need to know.
We are headed north.
Grab your bag and grab your coat.
Tell the ones that need to know.
We are headed north.
One foot in and one foot back.
But it don’t pay to live like that.
So I cut the ties and I jumped the track.
For never to return.
But it don’t pay to live like that.
So I cut the ties and I jumped the track.
For never to return.
Ahh Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in.
Are you aware the shape I’m in?
My hands they shake, my head it spins.
Ahh Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in.
Are you aware the shape I’m in?
My hands they shake, my head it spins.
Ahh Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in.
When at first I learned to speak.
I used all my words to fight.
With him and her and you and me.
Ahh, but it's just a waste of time.
Yeah it’s such a waste of time.
I used all my words to fight.
With him and her and you and me.
Ahh, but it's just a waste of time.
Yeah it’s such a waste of time.
That woman she’s got eyes that shine.
Like a pair of stolen polished dimes.
She asked to dance I said it’s fine.
I’ll see you in the morning time.
Ahh Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in.
Are you aware the shape I’m in?
My hands they shake, my head it spins.
Ahh Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in.
Three words that became hard to say.
I and Love and You.
What you were than I am today.
Look at the things I do.
I and Love and You.
What you were than I am today.
Look at the things I do.
Dumbed down and numbed by time and age.
You’re dreams that catch the world the cage.
The highway sets the travelers stage.
All exits look the same.
You’re dreams that catch the world the cage.
The highway sets the travelers stage.
All exits look the same.
Three words that became hard to say.
I and Love and You.
I and Love and You.
I and Love and You.
I and Love and You.
I and Love and You.
I and Love and You.

[Review] Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues (English)
We can already hear Fleet Foxes’ second album, "Helplessness Blues", though not by legal means. In fact, this album is put on sale on May 3, 2011.
The expectation was great, because their debut album, released in 2008, was undoubtedly one of the best albums that year. Now with this "Helplessness Blues" the American band didn’t disappoint and it will, undoubtedly, be one of the best albums of 2011.
This album couldn’t start better, with "Montezuma" opening and followed by "Bedouin Dress." With these two songs I soon realized that this would be a great album. And the truth is that "Sim Sala Bim" and "Battery Kinzie" support this idea. However, "The Plains / Bitter Dance" is an instrumental music that fails to convince and, although not a bad song (Are Fleet Foxes able to make a bad music?) brings nothing special to this album.
This moment less interesting from "Helplessness Blues" is soon forgotten by the song that named the album and that is probably the best of the twelve songs that comprise it. It is a clear candidate for song of the year.
"The Cascades" is another instrumental song of this album, but it's better than "The Plains / Bitter Dance." The following are "Lorelai" and "Someone You'd Admire." The last on is, a pair of "Helplessness Blues", the best song on this disc.
"The Shrine / An Argument" is, as the name implies, a song divided into two parts. And if the first is very good, the second leaves a bit to be desired.
"Blue Spotted Tail" and "Ocean Grown" are the last two tracks on "Helplessness Blues" that close this album the best possible way.
After hearing this album I was absolutely sure that "Helplessness Blues" will be one of the best albums of 2011, although we’re still in March. This album isn’t on sale yet, but I recommend to try to find on the Internet and listen to it. When it comes out for sale, buy it, because it's worth giving money to a band like this, so they can continue to release true works of art.

“The Cascades” é a outra música instrumental deste álbum, mas é bem melhor que “The Plains / Bitter Dance”. Seguem-se “Lorelai” e “Someone You’d Admire”.

Ryan Adams - To Be Young
Young boy, you done me bad, I went and did ya wrong
Young boy, you done me bad, I went and did ya wrong
Then I got high, Lord I got high, and I got a bone to pick with you
And I’m sure you know it’s true
Oh one day when you’re looking back
You were young and man you were sad
When you’re young you get sad
When your young you get sad, then you get high
Oh man
Young gal you done me bad and I went and did ya wrong
Young gal you done me bad so I went and did ya wrong
Then I got high
Lord, I got high
Now you got a bone to pick with me, but I wish you’d let me be
Oh one day when you’re looking back
You were young and man you were sad
When you’re young you get sad
When your young you get sad, then you get high
You get high
Oh the days the rain would fall your way
Oh the days the rain would fall your way
Then you be high, cause you got sad
Cause you got sad
Oh man
Young boy, you done me bad, I went and did ya wrong
Then I got high, Lord I got high, and I got a bone to pick with you
And I’m sure you know it’s true
Oh one day when you’re looking back
You were young and man you were sad
When you’re young you get sad
When your young you get sad, then you get high
Oh man
Young gal you done me bad and I went and did ya wrong

Oasis - (It's Good) To Be Free
Head like a rock spinning round and round
I found it in a hole sitting upside down
You point the finger at me but I don't believe
Paint me a wish on a velvet sky
You demand the answers but I don't know why in my mind
There is no time
But the little things they make me so happy
All I want to do is live by the sea
Little things they make me so happy
But it's good it's good it's good to be free
So what would you say if I said to you
It's not in what you say it's in what you do
You point the finger at me but I don't believe
Bring it on home to where we found
My head like a rock sitting upside down
In my mind there is no time
But the little things they make me so happy
All I want to do is live by the sea
Little things they make me so happy
But it's good it's good it's good to be free
You point the finger at me but I don't believe

The Maccabees - First Love
First love, Last love
Only love, it's only love
First love, Last love
Only love, it's only love
Do you miss home?
Do you miss home?
And are you cool?
Symmetrical?
Oh Oh Oh
Let's get married
And tick the boxes
Oh lets get married
And tick the boxes
Do you wanna be alone?
Do you wanna be alone?
And are you cool?
Symmetrical,
Analytical
Hypocritical
So critical
Nothing's perfect; I'm hoping I'll do
Oh nothing's perfect; I'm hoping I'll do
My mistake
And no mistake
And I would take it back if I could
So stay with me tonight
I'll make my bed, I'll lie in it
Enticing with its leopard print
I'll make my bed, I'll lie in it
Enticing with its leopard print
And matching velvet duvet
First love, Last love
Only love, it's only love
First love, Last love

Prima Donna
Prima Donna is a rock ‘n’ roll band from Los Angeles formed in 2003 featuring singer/guitarist Kevin Preston, Saxophonist/Keyboardist Aaron Minton, drummer David S. Field, bassist "lights out" Levine, and guitarist Erik Arcane.
In May/June 2005, the band went on an eight country European concert tour with Texas Terri. In December 2005, the band played part of original Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock and the Philistines American tour.
Prima Donna released their debut album, “After Hours”, in 2008. Although it hadn’t much publicity, it was one of the greatest albums from that year. They are, without a doubt, one of the best rock ‘n’ roll bands of the last years.
Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees
Her green plastic watering can
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself
It wears her out, it wears her out
It wears her out, it wears her out
She lives with a broken man
A cracked polystyrene man
Who just crumbles and burns
He used to do surgery
For girls in the eighties
But gravity always wins
It wears him out, it wears him out
It wears him out, it wears him out
She looks like the real thing
She tastes like the real thing
My fake plastic love
But I can't help the feeling
I could blow through the ceiling
If I just turn and run
It wears me out, it wears me out
It wears me out, it wears me out
If I could be who you wanted
If I could be who you wanted all the time
All the time...
All the time...
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself
It wears her out, it wears her out
It wears her out, it wears her out

Guns 'n' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Cha!
Welcome to the jungle
We got fun 'n' games
We got everything you want
Honey we know the names
We are the people that can find
Whatever you may need
If you got no money, honey
We got your disease
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your shun na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, knees, knees!
I, I wanna watch you bleed
Welcome to the jungle
We take it day by day
If you want you're gonna bleed
But it's the price you pay
And you're a very sexy girl
Very hard to please
You can taste the bright lights
But you won't get there for free
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Feel my, my, my, my serpentine
I, I wanna hear you scream
Welcome to the jungle
It gets worse here everyday
Ya learn to live like an animal
In the jungle where we play
If you got a hunger for what you see
You'll take it eventually
You can have anything you want
But you better not take it from me
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle

Mumfords & Sons - The Cave
It's empty in the valley of your heart
The sun, it rises slowly as you walk
Away from all the fears
And all the faults you've left behind
The harvest left no food for you to eat
You cannibal, you meat-eater, you see
But I have seen the same
I know the shame in your defeat
But I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck
And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
Cause I have other things to fill my time
You take what is yours and I'll take mine
Now let me at the truth
Which will refresh my broken mind
So tie me to a post and block my ears
I can see widows and orphans through my tears
I know my call despite my faults
And despite my growing fears
But I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck
And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
So come out of your cave walking on your hands
And see the world hanging upside down
You can understand dependence
When you know the maker's land
So make your siren's call
And sing all you want
I will not hear what you have to say
Cause I need freedom now
And I need to know how
To live my life as it's meant to be
And I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck
And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
The sun, it rises slowly as you walk
Away from all the fears
And all the faults you've left behind
The harvest left no food for you to eat
You cannibal, you meat-eater, you see
But I have seen the same
I know the shame in your defeat
But I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck
And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
Cause I have other things to fill my time
You take what is yours and I'll take mine
Now let me at the truth
Which will refresh my broken mind
So tie me to a post and block my ears
I can see widows and orphans through my tears
I know my call despite my faults
And despite my growing fears
But I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck
And I'll find strength in pain

Fake Problems - Soulless
This mess is not to be ignored, vilified, or abhorred
So take these words for what they truly mean to me
And I may not have the same kick as some of the other spices
But I am burning up inside
And I am still losing my mind for you
I was soulless, soulless
Broken down
Hollow as a ghost
But you have brought me back to life
And revived the hope
Take me home
Take me home
I will pretend to be asleep
So that no one will notice me
When everybody leaves
That's when I'll be able to dream
And I'll rearrange the room
The only thing I'll keep is you
And I hope you realize
What you truly mean to me
I was soulless, soulless
Broken down
Hollow as a ghost
But you have brought me back to life
And revived the hope
Take me home
Take me home
I am made of mistakes
I don't believe in fate
And I refuse to fail again
I will not let them win
I am much more than human
But just as insignificant
Soulless, soulless
Broken down (so soulless)
Hollow as a ghost
But you have brought me
Back to life (so soulless)
Revived the hope
I was soulless, soulless
Broken down
Hollow as a ghost
But you have brought me back to life
And revived the hope
Take me home
So take these words for what they truly mean to me
And I may not have the same kick as some of the other spices

Muse to play "Origin Of Symmetry" songs for the last time at Reading and Leeds Festivals
Matt Bellamy, frontman of the English band Muse, told NME that they will probably play "Origin Of Symmetry" songs for the last time at Reading and Leeds Festivals, because they want to finish an era that started with the release of that album, ten years ago. "It's probably the last time some of these songs will ever be played live again," he said of the 2001 album. He explained that the shows would see the band "drawing a line under one phase of our career". He added: "It was on the second album ['Origin...'] that things really started happening for the band, and when we focused on the live side of things much more. So it'll be like coming full circle: we've gone off on one a little bit, and now it feels like the right time to pull it back and remind ourselves of what we were doing 10 years ago."
Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction
You take a mortal man,
And put him in control
Watch him become a god,
Watch peoples heads a'roll
A'roll...
And put him in control
Watch him become a god,
Watch peoples heads a'roll
A'roll...
Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction
Acting like a robot,
Its metal brain corrodes
You try to take its pulse,
Before the head explodes
Explodes...
Its metal brain corrodes
You try to take its pulse,
Before the head explodes
Explodes...
Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction
The earth starts to rumble
World powers fall
A'warring for the heavens,
A peaceful man stands tall
Tall...
World powers fall
A'warring for the heavens,
A peaceful man stands tall
Tall...
Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
Dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction
[Review] Roger Waters no Pavilhão Atlântico (Blitz)
