[Review] The Vaccines - "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?" (English)

Since the release of debut single, "Wreckin 'Bar (ra ra ra)," a lot have been said about The Vaccines. Their debut album is called "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?" This is indeed a pertinent question. Some say that they will be the next big British band. Some say they will be just one of many "indie" bands that have appeared recently. The truth is that, although they’re releasing only now their debut album, most of the concerts that they played in recent times have been sold out and have been getting good reviews.

After hearing this album several times, I come to a conclusion: it is a good album, but doesn’t have the quality that many people expected.

Among the 11 songs that make this album, three of them stand out positively, "Post Break-Up Sex", the second single, "If You Wanna" and "Family Friend".
All other songs, except "Under Your Thumb," which in my opinion shouldn’t be in this album, are good.

In short, "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines" is a good debut album which, although not exceptional, it gives good prospects for the future of this British band.

7.5/10
